Domenick Capobianco (American, b. 1928) Two Abstract Black and White Painted Mixed Media Sculptures, one a square block with recessed square hole to center, the other a square block with nail to center and rope-attached wooden ball, both stamped "Studio Domenick Capobianco" to reverses.

Note: Domenick Capobianco is a graduate of Washington University at St. Louis, a Rutgers Fellow (1979), and a Guggenheim Fellow (1984/85). He was an educator and mentor at Rutgers University. Capobianco’s work can be found in collections worldwide, including: The Academie des Beaux-Arts, Ljubljana, Slovenia, The Albertina Museum, Vienna, Austria, and The M.V. Nesterov Museum, Ufa, Russia. Alongside his wife, artist Elfi Schuselka (Austrian, b. 1940), he frequently exhibited with the famed 55 Mercer Gallery in New York.
